We may require certain pieces of this information in order to create and maintain a personal account for you or on your behalf. A personal account may be required to enable you to access certain services, ministry environments, or other non-public areas of the Site, or purchase products and services or make a donation on or through the Site. We may request additional information to verify your identity in certain instances. Our goal in collecting information from you is to ultimately make your experience better as you use our Site or interact with Grace Fishers. Personal Information we collect may include, without limitation, your name, phone number, mailing address, date of birth, marital status, gender, anniversary, username, password, credit card information, and church affiliation, if you submit such information. Any information that you voluntarily provide equates to information that you are giving us consent to use.

Visitors are not required to register with Grace Fishers to access public pages of the Site. Grace Fishers will not sell your Personal Information, but may provide it to third parties to enable us to provide services to you or enable us to do ministry. Those third parties are required to keep your Personal Information confidential and only use it to provide us and you with their services.

In allowing access through such an application, we may receive certain information (including Personal Information) from the third-party application and disclose certain information to such third-party applications. Grace Fishers's Privacy Policy does not apply to our advertising partners or other third-party partners ("Partners"). Under California’s "Shine the Light" law, California residents who provide Personal Information in obtaining products or services for personal, family, or household use are entitled to request and obtain from us once a calendar year information about the Personal Information we shared, if any, with other businesses for their own direct marketing uses. If applicable, this information would include the categories of Personal Information and the names and addresses of those businesses with which we shared Personal Information for the immediately prior calendar year (e.g., requests made in 2024 will receive information regarding 2023 sharing activities).

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13 without the consent of the minor's parent or legal guardian.

A parent or guardian may consent to using our Site or services by a minor. However, we ask that you discuss the risks of sharing personal information on the Internet with your children and require that they refrain from communicating with any third parties or sharing any personal information online or otherwise without the supervision of a parent or guardian. Should you allow your minor child to use our sites or services, you are solely responsible for supervising the minor’s use of the same and assume full responsibility for the processing of any information provided to us by that minor.

Where you associate your minor child’s information with your account (e.g. registering for them for an event or checking them into weekend services), we will assume you consent to our processing of that information in accordance with this policy and other privacy notices and terms we may provide to you from time to time.

Accessing Your Information

You may access Personal Information you provide to us, or correct or modify such Personal Information, or direct us not to disclose your Personal Information to any third party other than those necessary to complete a transaction you initiate on the Site, those related to a legal proceedings, or those related to a change in control of Grace Fishers or certain of its assets.

We would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following: (1) to access or request copies of your Personal Information, (2) to request we correct any information you believe is inaccurate or incomplete, or (3) to delete or restrict processing of your Personal Information under certain conditions.  

We may be unable to delete certain information, depending on your history and continued involvement (e.g. giving history and mailing address if used for tax and accounting purposes, phone number to check you or your family into weekend services or events, email address if you serve with a ministry or are part of a group, etc...). Previously removed information may be added back to your profile if you provide this information again when registering for an event, completing a form, or otherwise provide us with the information.
