Fighting Drift through Intimacy

One of the greatest threats to a marriage – maybe even the greatest threat – is drift: drifting apart as a couple that results, one day, in a husband and wife looking at each other and saying,

“Who are you?”

“Why did we get married?”

“What attracted us to one another in the first place?”

And those questions either lead to divorce OR essentially living as roommates rather than as lovers.

UNLESS… unless we put in the work to bond – put in the work to build our bonds of intimacy before the drift begins, when we see drift happening, or when we recognize that drift has led to a gap or even chasm in our marriage relationship.

Using the Enneagram wisdom, this seminar will consider how we can work well together to deepen our bond as a couple by focusing on our time, intellectual, emotional, physical, & spiritual bonding. Combining teaching, individual reflection, & couple conversations while integrating key Enneagram aspects, the hope of this seminar is that each couple will be encouraged, equipped, and empowered where they need most in order to fight the inevitable drift that wants to sabotage their marriage.
